Aye, scum is a compliment in that context

Worst by far, in my experience. Not just for violence, but for the complete lack of respect for any other person, town, football club, rule, law, custom or whatever, and the insane "marching on" mentality which makes them blindly believe that size of club is somehow linked to deserved league position.

Complete set of woodworms, the lot of them.

    Apparently it's fun at work

as he works with Blunts and Wendies and they are all claiming bragging rights as to whose team is best

ie. "we beat you so we must be best"
" but you lost to ..."
    " yep but ........."

    In other words nothing changes!

BTW Laura didn't manage to get to her exams today, still in bed ill. She just can't get over this 'flu.

The Morgan incident supecedes the normal football banter IMO. I'm sure Kev is holding his own, on whatever subject.

Sorry to hear about Laura, the exams are not important but her health is.

    Don't worry about Kev,

when it comes to anything he strongly believes in he can more than hold his own. To be honest I think most of the genuine football fans think the "incident" warranted/warrants action and that the referee should have dealt with things differently and that the FA could and should step in.

Spoke to Laura's Head of Year he had her down as being sick (although knowing Laura expected her to get in and try her best) and has recommended she sits the paper in January.
