    he is the second worst I have ever seen since I started in the mid 70s. Schopp is the worst but Little Lee took a team with Winnall. Hourihane and Mawson to the bottom of league one. Now that was a feat.

    Johnson is the epitome of a modern management. Buzz words and no talent. I reckon I could have got that team promoted out of L1 not taken it to the bottom.

    Give over he obviously isn't as bad as barnsley fans make out or he wouldn't be managing a league one club which if he wins his games in hand could take them top. He's still in management which is more than hill,flicker,wilson and hecky.

    For me the run he went on was bad and I wanted him sacked but he turned it round won 7 on spin and got us to the jpt final.

    It is just soul destroying, Tina, and is inexplicable. There are no redeeming features, it’s embarrassing and painful to be a Barnsley fan under him. All the managers mentioned have been abysmal but this seems like a new low.

    Awful awful manager. The worst I had ever seen before Schopp. Your argument has the fatal flaw in that a current Championship club employs Schopp. Little Lee will always get work. He talks the talk but his teams never walk the walk

    Morais,hodges,spackman,wilson#2 and schopp. All managers whos football was mind numbing and spells here were less enjoyable than Johnsons time. Least johnson left us in a better position than when he took over none of the others can say the same.

    Fair enough that's your opinion. He also had a 43.4% win ratio with us which is considerably better than any of the other 5 managers i mentioned had with us.

    I reckon if I could have managed a team with Hourihane, Winall. Hamill in L1 I would expect to win the league and have a Stendel level win percentage. Massive underperformance. Stendel got a worse team promoted at a canter playing brilliant football. Johnson made the best team we have had in years look like the worst.

    Next week it could get worse. Imagine next weekend not beating a side managed by Grant McCann that has in it George Moncur and Callum Elder.

    Makes Spackman look like a world beater. As others have said that one win was precarious at best. I really despair now at where the club is from all angles. We are 4 points off Cardiff already.
