The team is doing fantastic but a small percentage of fans spoil it for others, it bothers me that's why I have a rant about some fans every now and again.
Old folk pffff shouldn't be going at that age doesn't matter if they used to stand on the Ponty and sing their hearts out when they were younger, same for anybody slightly disabled no right to be there! Sadly symptomatic of a lot of a lot of todays selfish society today I'm afraid not all but some. It's also something that has never been rectified since the days you could stand up, in them days when you wanted to sing and bounce around you just stood at A and if you wanted a bit more of a sedate view of the game you stood in B, simple! same thing when you wanted to meet up with your mates. They obviously can't have an area for people who want to stand because its not allowed, I suppose they could designate an area for folk who want to sing and chant but I guess they are never going to do that because its in the authorities best interest to have them split up.
Yes they do take up more room. Like you not sure why they have to. Maybe the more architecturally minded will be able to tell us.
It's the law is of course only partially true. Scunny's rinks dink little ground (and most of League 2 shows this)
I tried not to stand too much cos I'd got a bloke behind me who looked well into his 70's. I like to stand most of the time but if there's someone old or a kid who's not tall behind me I'm not going to be a **** by standing up all game. Didn't see these 95% boring fans at all. Strange oost
I think the exact phrase to us was, "Sit darn ya cocky lovely person, my kids can't see ... c'mon now, I've asked you nicely.."
Yep, me too - perfectly reasonable. At Crewe I stood for most of the first half because I was near the back and most others around me were standing so I thought I'd take the opportunity. Second half comes along and a couple of older guys sit in the seats behind me, so I sat down. Surprised it took this long for somebody to say it!
So what does the law say when the gap between rows is that small the bloke in front wears my knees as ear warmers?
