Not great by any means but better than Spackman Parkin etc

I'd put him on a par with Hart

    Probably the ones

that will be getting the elbow anyway when we abandon "academy" status

On field matters at all levels

Should be under the jurisdiction of the 1st team manager - whether and to whoever he delegates certain matters is his responsibility. He can't coach the academy for instance, but he should be telling whoever does, how he wants things to pan out.</p>

I think it'd be interesting to hear Davey's views on our academy.

    I agree with that...

Should be bringing the youth up to play "his" way. If he has a way. I think back to the last time we had anything like success at youth level and they all played 532/352 like the first team

    RE: Atkinson

I have a friend who follows Grimsby and he said Atkinson has been outstanding for them but exception in the last three weeks. It will be interesting to follow his progress and whether Barnsley were right to let him go. Time will tell!

    hehe

Left footed players don't exist, they're a myth.

There has been a young lad called Ben at the Academy playing at left back who is left footed. He looks a decent prospect! Shall we tell him to leave now!
