RE: Complete rubbish Good idea, but still ways around it for glory supporters to end up with a ticket. Collecting spare ticket stubs being one way. To have even more catergories would have meant season ticket holders not having as long either.
I feel really sorry for you. BFC has let down many of its core fans recently, these are the people who have kept it afloat in the bad times but who have been cast adrift for Mammon.
It shouldn't be beyond the wit of man for the club to develop a system for season ticket holders to purchase their ticket without having to go and que at the club. Again, I don't want season ticket holders to be disadvantaged and I think its been as much of a balls up for you over the two legs. Just think it is very disappointing for fans who can't go.
RE: Complete rubbish club need to look into a loyalty card scheme. Ticket stub system, although better than what we have now would still be open to abuse, as stubs are easily available on ebay after a game. It would just inflate the price they go for on ebay.
A few lads in my local have asked how they go about getting a Chelsea ticket, told em to **** off if they cant watch the Mighty Red Machine against Colchester and the likes then they can b0110cks for the big games.... whoops mini rant sorry
Would be nice if the club got around to building a new west stand, of the size of our east stand. That should push the attendance to around 26k which would.......... 1. Make it possible for a couple of thousand home fans to come to the big games they can't currently. 2. Allow us to put away fans down the side and let ours have the entire north stand.
Average gate this season is what????? And you want to push it up to 26k on the off chance of a Chelsea match once a year. You're not all there.
Increase capacity.......... what is the point?? A stand same as the East Stand would just look silly empty each week
genius Dreamboy strikes again.......................... we currently can't half fill a 22000 seat stadium so let's make it even f * cking bigger-brilliant-get on the phone to Gordon immediately
RE: I feel really sorry for you. I've had a season ticket for more years than I can remember - well over 30. For a good 12 of those years I probably only saw a couple of matches a season (if I was lucky) because I was working overseas. However I remember we nearly went bust in 1966, and as a result I supported them with my money although I didn't see them play. Since the stadium became all seater with an capacity of 60% of its former self, it was obvious that for big matches some folk would miss out. The club have to sell all the tickets if possible, and for a season ticket holder to be allocated only one ticket would probably result in all seats not being sold. We will only get to a position of one ticket/season ticket holder when the club sells in excess of 8,500 season tickets.
they darent disagree with the club now so expect either nothing or or something tha tis of no use to anyone
