I'd say £3.50. Can't believe prices in Leeds, there's a place in Headingely that charges about £7!

I like to be able to get fish and chips with a tub of curry and a can of dandelion and burdoch for a fiver or less.

I've had a look, Woody's takeaway in the town centre is open so think I'm going to nip through there, completely gone off traditional Sunday lunch.

    Envious!

Have a chippy run by turkish people and for an ok fish (though you can't just say fish and chips in London, have to actually state what fish... barmy!) and ok chips it's £7.80. The fancy "sea cow" on the Lane is around £10 (though you actually pick the fish you want from a cabinet and they cook it to your liking) and the best place about a mile from me is around £9.

The best ones though tend to be in the local pubs where you are talking £11-13... but you do get double cooked chips!

still not the same as up north though... travesty
