Sorry but your maths is wrong here. You would need to save £100 a month for 11 years, 4 months to accrue a £13,500 deposit.

Which kind of shatters your whole argument...

Plus, house prices were 2.5 times the average yearly salary in 1993. They're now 8 times the average yearly salary.

    £100 x 30 months = £13k?

Are you in the Tory fiscal advisory group?

Plus you're running a car. You're paying council tax. Water. Gas. Electric. TV license. Home insurance. Paying into a pension pot. That's before you take children into consideration. Maybe you go out once a month - you know, have a life whilst you're still young.

    That £1400 doesn't go a long way.

Others have made a lot of the points I align with in response to this.

To answer your question, I'm not okay with anyone sexually abusing or assaulting anyone. That is the key issue here. There is exactly the same context surrounding a man or woman going into an all female space to abuse someone as there always has been, regardless of whether trans people are around or not.

Everything you list comes to £2,200 per month for my household (childless, rented 3 bed ex Council house).

Sadly. this was/is much closer to home. I'll ask the question again to the person who told me. Junior infants. I truly disbelieved it at the time. But one or two confimed it. And hopefully that is the case. (Made up) Nothing more surprises me though mate.

It is feasible my daughter & her boyfriend saved up for their first house during COVID.
They were living, being fed and kept by us and of course never went out. Prior to that they struggled to save up because they went out occasionally at night but actually spent more during the day as well , like you say having a life.

After 2.5 years you'd have 3k and still be well short of your deposit.

It’d take nearly 11 years at £100 a month and then when you take solicitor fees, stamp duty, general moving costs into account, you’re looking at 15 years+ easily.

Hopefully got to the bottom of what was the accusations. Apparently the young person is plaguing her classmates. Pretending or claiming to be a cat lol. Going round scratching em and purring. Apparently the parents were not aware. but are now lol. The plot thickens. :)
