    I don't think Lambert would cope....

    with the switch to Championship soccer. Typical league 1/2 striker - big, good at the Stoke City up in the air stuff and effective with space. Anyone remember Eddie Loyden? Lambert is like him. He needed too much of a backlift to get in a shot at the quicker pace of higher leagues, but was always fairly good in the air.

    Not in the same league as Cox. Vaz Te could be an expensive flop - ask the Hull fans! Cox is the business - a greater nicker of quality goals - just what we need.

    But MacKail-Smith ...

    is valued at least at £3million and Posh don't need to sell. Cox would be less than £1 million, especially as Swindon could do with cashing in to rebuild from the basement of League 1.
