Oh dear..... .. Now, now. Lets not start throwing teddies. And on that note, I'll bid you a good night.
RE: or even where "there" was Quite true, it's quite possible mistakes can be made because fundamentallyhumans are involved.Which is one reason the government isn't getting its grubby mits on my DNA!

RE: When was the last time anyone other than the parents saw her alive? It is said that she was picked up from the creche at 6pm. It is said that the other guest who checked on her didn't go into the room, just listened at the door. It's also said that he went inside the room. It's also said that nobody went and checked, that they all stayed seated and downed far more wine than they said they did. It's said the police haved receipts to show this.

Which makes guessing without seing the statements a waste of time.

RE: When was the last time anyone other than the parents saw her alive? I havent seen any comments on it, I would have thought these timelines were key.
Like you say , without seeing the actual statements the speculation is just that.

You'll have to point out an example of that for me. I think you'll find that, in your desperate attempts to discredit me, you've repeatedlyassumed Islamophobiaequates toxenophobia.

,

If you must insist on this brainless auto-pilot bickering........ Will you at least try to pay attention?
I said that time and location can be fiddled but guessed that the Portuguese police will **** it up. And if you don't view them as incompetent tossers then you're either not as aware of the facts as you think you are or your tedious compulsion to take sides against all things British is overriding what sense you have.

RE: You'll have to point out an example of that for me. I don't need to discredit you, you've done a fine job of that without my help.

RE: If you must insist on this brainless auto-pilot bickering........ Mr Poirot, i've already said mistakes can happen and that they haven't done certain aspect of the investigation as quickly as they should have done. If you were paying attention you'd remember this. Funny you should talk about facts when your other posts are full of nothing but supposition. Take that plank out of your eye old boy!
I expect that came as a bit of a shock. Try to break free of your preconceptions and you won't make such silly mistakes in future.

.

RE: Heh heh You missed out the 'off you go then, with your family on a holiday paid for by the taxpayers to help you get over the trauma of shooting an innocent, unarmed man'bit.
Nonetheless........... .....in your haste to bicker you misunderstood, I know it and you know it. And we are talking theory and supposition but the fact remains that it is possible to tamper with the time and location elements of forensic evidence (not that I believe the Portuguese cops can pull it off.)
You're just picking around for arguments with me Acky. It'll never gat better if you pick it.

RE: If you must insist on this brainless auto-pilot bickering........ "your tedious compulsion to take sides against all things British" - now I see, it's the "Britons abroad in trouble with law - we take their side purely because they are British therefore they must be right cause we don't trust Johnny Foreigner!"
No, I don't think you do see. But as deputy head Brit-loather it's hardly surprising you'd twist it that way.

RE: Nonetheless........... .....in your haste to bicker you misunderstood, I know it and you know it. You're just picking around for arguments with me Acky. It'll never gat better if you pick it. Now really old boy, I didn't understand whatsoever. Your usual low levels of comprehension are failing you yet again. You'd not made any comment about the police getting away with it until I pointed out that if they were as usueless as you claimed they would probably botch that up as well. You still haven't grasped that they don't necessarily need DNA evidence as proof of guilt, or indeed innocence. Besides which the Portuguese police have already played down the idea that the DNA matches are as reliable as the media have reported, So why not stop your little guessing games that are based on nothing but heresay and media gossip and wait and see what happens?
RE: No, I don't think you do see. "Brit loather" - or just taking the view that it is possible that the parents are not innocent, regardless of nationality of anyone involved. There's a kid gone missing, possibly killed, here, so every potential suspect has to be investigated and that includes the parents.
RE: If you must insist on this brainless auto-pilot bickering........ Good old Windy, he has to try and paint me as being anti-British. This despite the fact it was me who pointed out to him that I was confident the UK forensic team would be more than capable of helping sift through the DNA evidence and speak out should it not be reliable, and me who pointed out to him that if the Portuguese police were so useless they'd mess things up anyway.
Aye alright Acky. Wriggle away. All over the place as usual.
And I'll say what I like "old boy" regardless of your lame, randombickering. I didn't ask you tostick your beak inand whether you actually believe your laughable assumption that youhave the intellectual high ground or not I can assue you that you'll never scratch that itch of yours.
