    kanecat people like myself who arent hard lined socialists who just stayed out on strike to save communities and jobs were labeled ,THE ENEMY WITHIN,how can we forgive this woman who treat us with so much disrespect and forced us to live in hatred for the way we were punched kicked arrested charged with affray riot ,faced prison sentances for trying to use our freedom to protest ,in 25 years time the truth will emerge as this will be the 50 years anniversary ,we the miners will be seen as the victims of this great political onslaught of the working class and trade union movement,by this evil capitalist movement who we plan on giving a state funeral what an insult to dave jones <JOE GREEN tradgically killed on picket duty i rest my case

    I agree entirely with what you have said.
    I wasn't saying there is any wrong in not forgetting what that witch did to our communities. Some people are still living with the consequences of it to this day.
    It is beyong belief to me that people cannot see what she did to the miners was out of pure evilness and spite.

    Thats an honour only one ex PM has had in the last century!

    I dont think too many would argue with Churchill being given a State sendoff but why exactly would Maggie deserve such an honour - not even sure too many Tories would agree to that one.

    A quick look at various on line comment on the subject does indicate that most think there are better ways of spending several million pounds
