seen the Tufnell goal a couple of times but as you say not for years, once was the programme around the 100 years of cup finals around 1972 or so i guess, if i remember rightly with his pace now we'd have a world beater (or was it just the speed of the film lol)

Clips from the 1910 and 1912 finals are already on Youtube. There is also a Leicester city site which has footage of the 1961 FA Cup QF at Oakwell when the crowd was just short of 40,000. You can find it here-

    This is from Bramall Lane

Lasts about four seconds and shows the ball going in the net and the crowd going wild.

    Looking forward to it mate...

Before my time but a lot of my mates still go on about him like he was God!

I've never seen footage of him play, neither!

RE: Looking forward to it mate...

that's what it's all about mate!

my main reason for doing this is that I have a son who is seven months old - and when he gets old enough I want him to be able to see all the footage and have a proper enjoyable history lesson 'This is Glavin - he was awesome....' 'This is Hendrie....'

    :)

    I,m sure there must be

The particular ones I want to put up are Glavs v Burnley 81-2 and Bankys cracker from the previous season also against Burnley. There's a humorous interview after the footage were Banks says that as they were stood over the ball Ray McHale says "Dunt shoot yer too far art". "Ah just thought a Florida un hit it" was his reply.

    Classic stuff

RE: How do you convert Video/DVD to youtube

What I would do is use DVDShrink in Reauthor mode to make a DVD folder on your hard drive just of the clips you want to upload, then use VOB2MPG to extract the VOB files created by Shrink to MPEG files and then upload those.

Particularly long videos will be too big in full DVD size MPEG files - if any exceed the 100MB limit set by youtube, use VDubMod to resize and recompress to XViD. I'll take you through that step later if necessary.
