Out for 12, at my seat for five to three, if I'm early. No pre-match stuff worth watching.

Yeah and I'm sick of boring wan*kers who sit .....

...... there in the ponty from half past 2 liked stuffed dummies who never get off their arse or open their gobs to support their team then go on forums like this and moan about those that turn up at kick off time and get behind the team.

There's always talk of creating standing/singing areas in grounds, for me we would be better creating an area where all the boring, sober, quiet gits can get in an hour before kick off, where it's compulsory to sit down all game and shut up and only pee at half time or full time, then they wouldn't get in the way of those who go to the match to relax, socialise, have a good time and get behind the team

if that's aimed at me, you can meet me at 1.15pm every home game on saturdays in the courthouse

but i can also get to my seat in time for kick off and still sing my heart out for the lads

It's aimed at anybody and everybody who fits the part ..

...... the so-called do-gooders who are in their seats at half 2, never get off their arse all game, never utter a word apart from to moan about all the folks who sit around them are not supporting their team, they are probably only there to get away from the nagging wife for an hour or two.

No matter what anybody thinks about the folks who turn up at kick off time or just after, like a pre-match drink, go for a pee during the game ............ they are the ones who generate the atmosphere on the odd occasion that there is one at Oakwell, and when they sit down and shut up, the same as all the 'goody two shoes' fans, that's when the ground is dead

Get to ground about 20 to 3. Stand at front of Eaststand to get a good look at opposition players going through their paces.

rant and rave as much as you like, but they have the right to do how they wish

doesn't make them any less a supporter

Yes, and that argument works both ways .........

........ so why did you suggest that people be escorted from the ground if they don't follow 'your' supporters 'rules' then?

About 2-30 and watch our players banging the ball in the net. Later watch them again for 90 minutes and come to the conclusion that they couldn`t hit a cows arse with a banjo.

Summat happens when they go back in that dressing room just before Kick Off.

It says summat along those lines on all match tickets ...

...... but it's not enforcable really is it? What if you are working and get there 5 minutes late? ... "sorry pal, you can't come in after 2:55pm"

I think you need to decide which side of the fence you are on because at first you said

"anyone not at their seat for 5 to (3) should be escorted back out"

    Then you said ..

"rant and rave as much as you like, but they have the right to do how they wish, doesn't make them any less a supporter"

    Slight contradiction there

can see your point there. i know what i said isn't enforceable

and i wasn't referring to workers. my problem is fans who can't get out of the pub in time, to take their seats before 3pm.

    Are you sure?

2 guys behind me turn up 5 mins late, leave 5 mins early, leave seats before half time etc and generally talk ******** throughout the game and constantly get on the players backs.

You can actually get behind the team and still arrive before the game starts you know!

That will never change mate .............

....... well unless Davey and Co. put summat on the pitch worth rushing up there for, I think we need to be grateful for anybody who makes the effort to turn up at the moment, no matter in what state or at what time!
