For clarification I wasn't implying anything other than he looked genuinely gutted. Really felt for him as there were at least two players on the pitch that I'd have picked him ahead of.

As far as I know he stayed on the train when we changes at Birmingham, so was probably heading to the North West.

Well balanced and accurate post. I didn't go to Bristol but was astounded to see Potts on and Hammill on the bench.

We spoke briefly to Adam at the station. He was going back to Liverpool, which is perfectly understandable for him and was polite and courteous to us and others, posing for pictures with kids etc. Was disappointed with the result but nothing else to read into his disposition than that as far as we encountered.

Ohh ok, well I just think Hecky seems to have had a falling out with Hammill, hence the reason why he doesn't give him a fair chance anymore other than the odd sub appearances. I could go along with it if Hammill had f*ked up somewhere along the way, but he hasn't.

I can see why he didn't always start last season, although he started more than half, with 15 sub appearances. I think he's needed as much this season, as when he first returned though.

Think Hecky got it wrong from the start yesterday , should have gone with one up front and Hammill on from the start , at least Adam gets back and gives his full back some cover . Starting with Potts was odd as Hecky has said in the past with lower league players they needed to get up to speed with our fitness / tactical regime before throwing them in . Hammill creates things , always has two or three defenders on him which creates space for others . Think we need him on the pitch particularly first half of the season with so much inexperience in the team , don't forget Moncur only had half a season at this level last season .
