I wasn't trying to point score. I honestly thought you'd play it a lot more on the floor.

Having read your responses it seems you were modding the players that might have enabled that to happen

How many away fans did it look? I've seen 1,300 mentioned but neither club have announced an away figure on their Twitter accounts. 400 less then you had against Bradford but I like how your programme mentions away followings. Steady flow of around 700-800 apart from us and Bradford and the low 200+ Walsall took.

That official on your website? You have a really poor tanoy system so couldn't hear anything said over it if it was given on that. If it's that low i'm surprised we only had around 300 pay on the day because that part of the ground was rather rammed down towards your terraced goal.

Please don't go all Bradford. The figure will be in the programme at the next match.

Struggling to see how it wasn't closer to 2,000. Seriously. But then, they don't give you tickets at the gate. Just take your 20 and let you in. I think it was a good turnout all things considered. Our big away day coming up next month. Hope we take another decent, vocal following to the Blunts.

It always seems more when you're in the middle of a crowd. Lots of seats dotted about all the blocks and plenty free in the end block. Sat opposite we guessed at 1250.

Felt we edged the game, lots of pressure from Rochdale but little in the way of clear chances. The only time I was genuinely nervous was in the 1st half when we thought there striker had handballed it & our defence seemed to pause a second & Vicenti (think it was him) had a shot just tipped wide.

Agree on Allen, we all said he was your best player. Very busy player but some quality as well.

I felt Wilson got the tactics right today. He played a formation I've been wanting to see for a while especially with a 3 man midfield of Bailey, Berry & Hourihane.

I've been quite impressed with Berry in the home games so just assumed he'd been awful in the recent away games as a reason for him been dropped otherwise it doesn't make any sense to me.

We really did look dangerous on the break, Cole's a hell of a talent, hopefully Jennings can get up to top form soon & we can have that sort of threat down both wings.

Quite enjoyed the Rochdale ground too. Some around me were calling it tinpot & making comments like that but I love grounds like that especially over the likes of Middlesborough's & Derby's.

Was surprised at just how much abuse Dawson got. I never rated him as a player but have never had an issue with him as I always felt he gave his all.

When you consider the smallish crowds Rochdale get & the types of player Hill continues to develop on such a small budget you've got to give him credit. Things might not have worked out at Oakwell but he's done a superb job with Rochdale.

Me too, but then post match I was informed by a BFC employee that Dawson had elbowed Hourihane early on (I must have missed it) and that he was telling his teammates to "snap their feckin legs" etc all afternoon.

    **** him. Useless get.

Agree with you regards the stadium. And on Keith/Dale.

Thinking back I did see the elbow incident he was lucky the ref didn't see it. It was right in front of me on the half way line in the first 10 mins.

Didn't hear him shout that but if he did then he deserved all he got.

Was a bit gutted Kennedy didn't play, I've missed his floated crosses & he's sporting a lovely pony tail that deserved some piss taking

Ryan Williams is sporting the same ponytail. Lets hope his crosses aren't as floaty.

Erm because I don't align with your view, I'm somehow ignorant? I saw John Stones, Jacob butterfield, Neil Redfearn, Gerry Taggart, Arjan De Zeeuw, Vaz Te, Adam Hammill, Ashley Ward, Darren Barnard, Jan Molby, Carl Tiler, Nicky Eaden, Dave Watson, Neil Shipperley, Craig Hignett, Martin Bullock, etc etc etc plus the galaxy of Premier League and international stars I've witnessed first hand as a Barnsley fan.

But yes, you tell me I'm ignorant mr Rochdale.

Found that strange. For all the club know cash could be pocketed. Some folks like to keep hold of match stubs. Plus it makes it easier for stewards.

Yep. I said to the bloke, where's my ticket? He said it's ok, just go in.

But I'm one of those who retains away day tickets. Keep sake innit?

    Basterds.

I didn't notice any of them during the game, but like many others on here I did see Jamie Allen make football look easy. Shame we didn't have others in the side doing the same.

I've no issue with this Allen character and I'm sure he's amazing. I just never noticed his magic. But this is a Barnsley forum after all. You know the point I made, you're not thick. I've seen enough talent courtesy of BFC to know it when I see it. I just didn't see the boy you're creaming over. I'm sure he'll be a top player. My opinion will make no difference to his career.

No idea who this kid is. Lucky? Dale never looked like scoring. I never worried about the result after Rambo scored. It was a regulation typical away win.

It's also a football forum, embrace football. Embrace Allen.

That's why I enjoyed watching Berry: I like watching good players and good games. Lee Tomlin for Middlesbrough pre-season - clapped him off. It's good for the soul to notice these things.
