Probably not, you're right. Good to see you in the bogs yesterday, and you can vouch for me that I wasn't smoking. Good lad.
Definitely not smoking. A *** anyway... Good to see you too. For clarity, we didn't talk mid piss... Perfect away performance for me. And all the better to shove it to him
He wasn't 30 yards behind Hery , about 5 maybe, and yes he chased him down and forced a throw in. Keep it up and you'll have no worries, Cole was by far City's best player for you yesterday.
I noticed Allen play well but I do disagree with what you said there. I think sometimes you focus that much on your own team & who's where when off the ball that you don't really notice the opposing teams stand out players
That must be so frustrating. I managed to find time to notice how well Berry played and I overanalysed us to distraction. But you don't want to read about Dawson's positioning when we didn't have the ball on here...
Do tell. In fact, I'd appreciate a player ratings from you, for both sides. What did you make of Bree, in particular, and Treacy?
When you had the ball he seemed to drift out right and subsequently when we won it back if he was the option it'd lead I a 'Dawson playing right midfield where he's limited beyond belief' scenario. Dunno why, because usually one of Done or Henderson will do that. Ratings, Dale first: Logan 8, Rafferty 5, Tanser 6, Lancashire 5, O'Connell 6; Allen 8, Lund 5, Dawson 5; Vincenti 7, Done 6, Henderson 5 Might be being a bit harsh there, but it's clear to see why we didn't win with usually effective players off form. Barnsley Turnbull 8, Bree 7, Ramage 8, Cranie 7, Nyatanga 7; Berry 8, Bailey 6, Hourihane 7; Cole 7, Winnall 5, Treacy 5 Bree has real potential, plays beyond his years. Treacy was, in the main, a waste of space. He got a 5 for a couple of decent balls into the box as he's obviously got quality, but he looks far from fit, and that's being kind.
I thought Winnall was key yesterday. His hard yards gave Cole so much space. Suppose it's all dependent on what you value etc. I love a grafter up front.
He and Cole worked well together. Just watched the highlights on Player. He was so unlucky not to score when he turned his man in the box. I'm sticking to the belief that one goal soon will equal a glut of goals.
Couldn't go yesterday but I listened to the Rochdale commentary on player, they thought it was Dones least threatening performance of the season.
