I do not think that Hill does the contract negotiations at BFC, I think Don Rowing does. If we are paying Greening £10k per week then I agree that the culprit should go.
Maybe not directly, but if Keith is working to a budget, I'd be surprised if he didn't give Don an idea about what we should be prepared to pay each player Can you imagine what would happen if Keith gave Don a list of targets only to discover that the entire budget was blown on a single player? When managers state the do not get involved in negotiations, it doesn't wash with me.
