The West stand wouldn’t need to be pulled down to meet Premiership standards. (It currently exists without meeting championship standards ) it doesn’t matter how churlish your responses, it doesn’t alter the fact that buying a ground and getting planning permission aren’t something that gets done in a matter of weeks. As per my first post on the matter, it’s 10’s of thousands in ‘improvements’ to open the current west stand, replacing it (if it was financially viable*) will take a years planning once ownership of the ground is settled. * if we can make it safe and open it, then sums need to be done on how many times a season the ground would be full to capacity and whether it’s worth spending millions on a replacement for x thousand extra seats. There’ll be people on this board aware of the work already done to work that out.
Done!! First one for many a year. I get to most matches these days so a no brainer I suppose. If we get to the promised land it will be money well spent. If we don't, it will be worth it just to thank the club for the strides made this year.
