I'd love to know what really went on there. Maybe he just wasn't good enough. When coaches were asked about why he wasn't featuring it isn't the done thing to say your player isn't up to it. That would be disrespectful and could lower the value of the player. So you'd say something vague about him having to improve on the training ground. Which is what coaches did say. Of course supporters then read that as not applying himself on the training field. That's what it sounds like. He's already tainted by association by his compatriot. Laziness is the ultimate sin for a footballer. All that privilege, squandered. And yet; he just might not have been good enough.
It’ll be one of those things we learn more about in a few years I bet. Just a failed transfer, I bet he was promised the world by Conway and turned up expecting to play but didn’t realise the demands of the game and the work that he needed to put in on the training ground. It’s a shame because I think he could have been great had he actually played but sadly it didn’t turn out so.
Yeah but don’t you remember when he joined and they released that clip of him in training and he looked like a proper player? I’m sure quite a few of the squad came out and said what a talented lad he was. I honestly don’t think in his case that it was lack of talent.
I think either there was some sort of scam & Conway was in on it or an agent played Conway. Either way both him & Oulare & the wages they were supposedly on are two of the biggest mistakes this clubs ever made.
