I thought Sheperd had a decent game Saturday. Tonight against Carlisle he had a nightmare, he wasn't alone . The goaly gave them a goal . Our defence was poor. We were not great, but to single any player out would be harsh. Cadden player of the game suggests a little cynical to the team that he was only on the field last 45. We won playing sh%# were still on course .
After Saturday though where he was decent, he deserved a start. There's no way Collins would have expected that.
Cadden getting mom was laughable really, not that he didn’t have an impact because he did, but McAtee never stopped running, trying to create etc, all game
Yes Mcatee was my mom ,I think whoever chose Cadden was making a statement. He did put some good balls into the box.
It's been explained to you by nez. Cadden is not gonna be selected from the start at RWB, ditto O'Keefe at LWB (unless no-one else is available).
Williams in his true position is available, i am sure lopata would do a better job in his false position
I think someone was watching a different match if they think O’Keefe and Cadden play in the same position.
Unless you're completely two footed this is a none starter, defenders are taught from a young age to use their body to show the attacker where they want them to go, obviously for wingers this would mean forcing them wider away from the goal and onto your strong foot so you've got a better chance at making a strong, successful tackle. If you put a left footed player at right back the co-ordination goes, he can no longer manouver the wingers further wide like he wants to and to make a strong tackle with his left foot he's got to twist his body round and leave his stood square on to the opposition player, which means if the player then bolts off with the ball Cadden would be prone and beaten. On an attacking sense if he's not comfortable crossing with his right foot all he's going to do all day is cut inside to either shoot or cross, which makes it easier for the opposition to mark him. At least when he's in the natural left back spot he can choose to cut inside or go down the wing and cross.
