If there's one thing I despise more than Man Utd its...

    Man City.

People bang on about how Utd have bought the title in the past, but I feel it's rather unfair criticism, especially when the same people have either jumped on the Chelsea or City bandwagon.

    Utd's Line up yesterday:

    De Gea, £18.9m
    Smalling, £10.0m
    Ferdinand, £30.0m
    Evans, £0
    Evra, £5.5m
    Nani, £25.5m
    Fletcher, £0
    Anderson, £27.0m
    Young, £17.0m
    Rooney, £20m
    Wellbeck, £0
TOTAL: £153.5M (Including 3 academy products, and a total of 7 British players, all signed over a 9 year period)

    Man City:
    Hart, £0
    Richards, £0
    Kompany, £6.0m
    Lescott, £22.0m
    Clichy, £7.0m
    Toure, £24.0m
    Barry, £12.0m
    Milner, £26.0m
    Silva, £26.0m
    Ballotelli, £24.0m
    Aguero, £38.0m
TOTAL: £177.8M (Including 2 academy products and a total of 5 British players, all signed in just 3 years, City also had £27million Edin Dzeko on the bench.)

How can you possibly accuse United of buying the title, an overlay of £155m spread over 9 years for their starting line up yesterday. Obviously they've spent more than that, but surely it's a case of maintaining a title winning squad rather than buying the title, as City have done, with a squad assembled in just 3 years with £177million (over £200 if Dzeko is included), and again, they've spent much more than that, now that's buying a title, as Chelsea did circa 2004 when they spent £300million between Jun 03 and Jun 06 (£100m P/A).

I despise Man Utd's fans, I despise Alex Ferguson, I think Ferdinand is one of the most overrated players in the world, and Rooney is a stupid, oger faced ******, but there's no denying their dominance over the last 20 years definatly, and I still think they'll trump City come May, Untied have a knack of consistently beating the smaller clubs, and dropping points to the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea, if City can beat the Stokes, Wolves' Swansea's, West Brom's of the premier league, they'll win the title, but I feel the winter won't be kind to the players from exotic places and come May, Manchester will be UNITED

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

Whereas I really couldn't give a ****. I've loathed the Scum for years, but they're not on their own. City are buying the title, Chelsea have done it before, Liverpool are wanting to negotiate their own TV rights, Stoke can spend millions in the transfer window, and so on. The game stinks. Only club I don't mind now in the EPL is Wolves, as they're the one team not to spend money they haven't got on players that aren't worth it. I hope the rest go bust.
