    He was clueless. There was a point in the first half where he gave a free kick in their box against Moore which wasn't a foul, and if it was then it should have been the other way. He made their keeper retake it twice because the ball didn't go out of the box as if it was a goal kick. Idiot.

    Actually if you ignore the fact that the free kick was incorrectly awarded the ref was correct on insisting it was retaken

    Quote from rule 13


    If, when a free kick is taken by the defending team inside its penalty area, the ball is not kicked directly out of the penalty area the kick is retaken.
