Ok, I'll accept that. It's just that you give the impression of someone who goes to a game trying to find fault in Roberts, Winnall, Yiadom, Hammill and Hourihane
whilst trying to big up Bree Kent Morsey and Janko.

Probably my fault for noticing it.

You're forgetting the fact we should be starting Rodriguez and Evans(*no dig at them! Just highlighting how bat **** crazy Phil is!)

I was disappointed too with that exile. Now I was near the top of the stand today so I couldn't hear if there was a shout. If there wasn't then maybe he thought he needed to shoot quickly Exile, At say a u18 game you will often hear the shout of Time or not so it's easier to say you're opinion.

If there was then he should take it down because if he does he's very hard to direct with him been strong off either foot.

We've got to remember he's learning out there too (that's not an excuse though). I think there's a frustration around Kent at the moment because it's not quite happening for him, maybe the first time for him. I'm not sure that's more a question for a liverpool fan that watches youth football there.

For me he's an attacking midfielder much like Butterfield is. If you watched the game he played in the other day you would see how limited JB is apart from when he's in that final third with width either side and then he turns it on. Lives for that pass or getting a defender one on one.

Do you not think most of our squad are learning Phil? Or just your favourites.

I admire your loyalty to the youngest looking members of our squad. Why can't you show that same support to all of them?

I don't really want to get Fired's thread about me but i'll answer your question.

To me the players will always be learning, age doesn't matter on this. The game changes a lot every few years. PH spoke about this on Monday.

To me there's basics and non-basics

I'll not accept a player not been able to do a basic. If I was watching a u16 match on the top pitch at Oakwell on Saturday i would expect the basics to be fine (90% of the time )never mind a first team game. Not been able to pass the ball 15 yards under a 6/10 pressure isn't okay.

If say Hourihane wants to work on a new pass long range say 40 yard. He wants to add a right to left say pass at 40 yard or a top spinning pass so he can play it quite straight and get it to dip to give the winger the best chance to run on to it. Note, this isn't based on anything other that makeing this point.

Then fine. He'll make mistakes for a few games and we have to feel the pain for the long term gain.

    Absolute rubbish Hemsworth.
Yiadom never stopped trying or running.
I'm no longer going to read your posts as they smack of biased favouritism !
How dare you try to denigrate Yiadom !
    How bloody dare you !

    I've noticed it too.
Can't say I was impressed with Bree tonight.
What exactly did he do to warrant such praise?
    I'm sick of your bias.
It's starting to really get to me.

Do you think this has anything to do with Yiadom playing out of position at left back? Earlier on in the season when we was right back he was constantly overlapping. It must be harder to not play on your natural side.

*I don't know why I'm reasoning with you. You're an stupid little boy.

Long thread and some 'debate' but...

....ignoring the detail about individual performances etc. as a) I live 1200 miles away so cant get to games and b) I know f*ck all about the intricacies of the game and still less how Hecky has set up the team to play, nevertheless I feel the need to comment on a several of the posts (Hemsie in particular)
One -I thought everyone had bought in to the model of getting young players and bringing them on. They are on a learning curve.
Two - We have one of the youngest, most inexperienced squads in the league
Three- We have one of the brightest, most committed managers we have had for a long time but he too is on a learning curve
Four - having stepped up a league, given the above and the fact we work within a budget lower than teams who have rich owners, flirt regularly with Premiership status and all the parachute payments etc that entails or simply get around the FFP rules we are punching well above our weight
Five - our expectations were to survive this season, -comfortable mid table was the target - which now looks a probability so we can develop and push on to become establised Championship and flirt with Premiership status.
Six - From day one Hecky warned us (and some posted on here) we would lose as many as we win and it would be a 'roller coaster ride' this season

So, my gripe is, that the start to the season was far above expectations and some on here (no names mentioned) seem to expect us to roll sides over and then look for individuals to pick out to blame when we dont. As paying customers you have every right to complain if players are not putting a shift in, but (again I have not been to matches) one week some are praising the players saying everyone was MOTM and the next, they are not good enough blah blah blah.

I know football is a game where people like to debate and have strong opinions and odd individual performances may attract a bit of criticism but the constant sniping by certain people against young experienced players (and one or two on here even turned on Hammill after the ridiculous sending off last night for being "a liability") is just WRONG.

    Rant over.

I don't have any agendas or favourites but in my opinion Yiadom was the better of our two full backs over the course of the game. He's more experienced and it showed for me.

How come some players are being singled out but not Bradshaw? The guy had some great chances last night. Not half chances either.

Our weakness wasn't individual defenders, it was in the final third.

I haven't been on here for a while but thought id throw my penny worth in.
Overall we are doing well, week on week we playing against better players of prem and championship quality and experience, with better coaches pitches etc etc.
I have attended the last 3 home games with an old footy scout (with prem experience himself) the good thing about that is that he can analyse games impartially (I do try to!!) and give honest appraisals of what he sees in front of him on the pitch. Before anyone says "but that doesn't mean hes right" etc let me share with you his thoughts (kind of mine too).
BFC very inexperienced team for this division and very much learning their trade at this level........95% of the teams they play have far more experience players. His top players for us.......1. Yiadom 2. Roberts. He reckons we need experience in the middle of midfield as a priority in Jan (if we can afford it).
Asked about Kent..........he believes he is a good player that needs developing.
The question I suppose.......... and we all have our opinions is who we play and in what formation to get the best results. Norwich for me on Saturday was a magnificent result, that second half, wow, they just came straight through us and I thought it was going to be how many they would score, but credit to Hecky, he changed the formation got the extra man in midfield and did a great tactical ploy, which secured us 3 points.
What will happen now at Cardiff? hopefully Warnock will play long ball, as from what I have seen so far this season we are pretty competent at defending long and high balls, I think a draw will be a good result and I'm confident that will be the outcome COYR.

How did I know, that when seeing this thread having 2 pages that t'old Hemmsy would have stuck his two pennies worth in, and that it would be all Yids/Conner/SSW/Robbo*'s fault.

Seriously Hemmsy, stop spending all your(parents) money on following this team, as all it's doing is getting you down. We're never going to be good enough for you, are we?

    *delete as apllicable

I think it's important for some people to realise that this is exactly why Kent has been sent to Barnsley.

He's here to improve his overall game.

If he didn't need that he wouldn't be here.
