    You seem to have a lot of faith in Winstanley. Have you worked with him?

    Why do you think he would improve things? </p>

    If he is such a good youth coach and I don't doubt that he is, why is he with York and not with a Premiership or a Championship Academy?

    coaching its an old pals act. Thats why Winnie is at York and Ryan Kidds at Tarn.

    To some extent it is an old pals act. Isn't that part of the problem?</p>

    Would bringing Winstanley back actually improve things? Would we end up with another old pals act with coaches who have previously worked at the Club and achieved little coming back in with him?

    Many Academies promote on merit. I know plenty of Academy coaches at Premiership and Championship Clubs who are not ex pros. </p>

    Academy Jobs at the higher level are advertised on the FA Coaches Associations web site.

    Maybe he could bring some heart felt passion and emotion to the academy something that is blatently missing who knows ?



    Many Academies promote on merit. I know plenty of Academy coaches at Premiership and Championship Clubs who are not ex pros.

    At under 18 level i doubt it maybe at the younger age groups
