One of the toughest jobs in football. To tell a lad who has been an acadamy student for years and as a result given up lots of the usuall things young men do in their early teens " Sorry lad but we are going to let you go " because he wouldnt appear to be good enough. I dont know the percentage but of the hopefulls, those that actually make it is very small.
