I have no doubt we will sell him as we did with the Austrian lad(can’t spell his name) If we do it tells me we have accepted mid table mediocrity. Which is the most important success on the field or turning a quick profit.
Article in Friday's Chronicle infers we've rejected two bids of £1 million for Moore from two Championship clubs. Personally I hope the board adopt the policy of looking after their own interests first. Moore will score goals in League One, so if we are serious about returning to the Championship, they really ought to hang on to him.
you mean like the one Bournemouth use in the Premier league. Oh and Brentfords ground hold just over 12K and they seem to be doing just fine on it.
Both are looking to build new grounds https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www....ier-league-stadium-in-march-a3759466.html?amp https://www.afcb.co.uk/news/club-news/update-on-new-stadium
I'd be really disappointed if Moore leaves, as I believe he'd certainly be able to get goals for us in Division 1 (as would Tom Bradshaw). Perhaps we're targeting one or two replacements, but both our lads (for me) seem equipped to fit in with the style of play the side is hoping to provide.
Why are we always willing to sell our assets? We should definitely not be selling Kieffer to anyone! My brother has said that, if we do, he’s done as it shows a complete lack of any ambition & he doesn’t want to watch matches again where we can’t win a header or hold the ball up (like the 1st half of last season). I hope that is turning down 2 bids demonstrates that he is staying rather than trying to merely up the price. Madness to sell him
If he has a clause in his contract to play in the Championship and the right fee is agreed Then we are powerless.
They'd have to offer at least a million. Can't see it happening, by the end of his contract we'll be a division above them again.
Over £2 million would be decent business, with a sell on. Anything below that, no way Jose (or Daniel). We have to recognise we have been relegated & see what player ambitions are. In the end will depend on the type of strikers DS wants. No rush to do business, would be better to have any incoming forwards identified before letting anyone other than Thiam go. I just can't see him fitting the type of football described...
New owners aren’t gunna see much return on their investment if we just keep on keeping on selling our best players. They may as well sell the club on and go find another plaything to fook about with if this is the crack. Though GG wanted automatic promotion? If so, this rumour goes totally against it. Sounds like more complete ballax if so. Getting boring tbh. Bfc, give us summat to get excited about FFS!
As usual all the noises are on who we are going to sell!! Was ir Hecky that declared "everyone else is trying to build a club and we are trying to sell one" Keep the sharks away and issue some words of intent...that will then send out a proper message to other clubs and more importantly.....our fans!
I think Tony Stewart as done a great job at Rotherham... If our new owners do half as much for us, then we'll be ok
You know what they'll say if he goes... well we made a profit on him and we've Mamadu's cousin about to sign,,,, so everything is tickety boo.
