Re: That's genuinely what Wednesday fans think about the Evans approach If Appleton did get the job, would he fetch the first team coach he had at Blackburn i.e Darren Moore.
Spot on Dave..thats just what I was thinking, there's now't like a name nobody wants, to make the Mellon waverous (sp) except there man.....blackops..hehe
Classic contemporary politics. Next election Milliband and Balls Cameron and Osbourne Both sides will use virtually the same mantra. 'Vote for us, vote for us or the alternative is them' ...Clegg 'vote for me ... please... oh please will anyone vote for me ? '
I would think, he'd be interested in any Championship, High league one club jobs that was available. Must be a slow sports day for Sky sports journalists.
They must be only me that at rates him. I think he went to Blackpool and Blackburn at the wrong times. He is backed to be the manager of the future, he hasn't had the chance to show that. Portsmouth was in admin, he had to have a squad that was on month contracts, no money whatsoever At Blackpool, he was promised things that he did not get, had a fall out with the owner who is a prik! Didn't have chance to show his capability. At Blackburn, it was a job that no manager would want, he tried to show what he could do, but the club was one big joke, who didn't Evan know who owned the club! He joined each club at wrong time, had no time in the transfer market, he made the wrong decisions in his career. Al not be dishearten if he came here.
I agree wi that mate, its the way i see it an all, its how everythings done. to bring in a new PM a law or a footy manager, where there may be some resistance, first show people an imagined alternative which has no reality. Get folk to think, i don't know what I want..but I know what i dont want,.. then bam.. The people will think they've made the choice, but its already been made for them. Plus for some very strange reason, people do blindly trust. Its like the Walrus and the Carpenter..
Made some fair points there to be honest. Wilson or MM for me and would still be the case if we lose tomorrow.
Yes, you could look at the timing of his appointments, but if he had any sense, he would have carried out his own due diligence and then quickly realised not to take the jobs. I have zero sympathy here and certainly don't want him at Oakwell.
You learn by mistakes, he will be Hungary for success to prove the doubters. He has loads of contacts in his phone book, he's in high regard from are woy hodgson. He's our man
