    A thick one. He was 'the next Bastian Scweinsteiger' but failed to learn the German language in 2 years. When he demanded new boots, Bayern thought he was too high maintenance and recommend he move to England where there is more water. Micky Melon speaks fluent German and will be working closely with him, enabling him to sign for Dortmund in the next two years.

    Does it really make a difference?

    Theres plenty of footballers in England who didn't and don't speak English very well or at all and they are doing quite well.

    I can assure you it makes a massive difference. The simplest of day to day tasks become a nightmare if you can't speak the language. I lived in Germany for 3 years and spoke German the whole time. Even then I got homesick and eventually came back.
