I was told on a FA coaching course that I went on, that for us "grass roots Joe Public type coaches", even if we have dreams of making it into the professional game, the chances are very very slim. The general advice is do it for the love of the game and community......but I do wish you every success mate.

Vacant jobs are normally given to those from within the game........so maybe you do have a good and valid point with Accrington. But if so, then what's the penalty for Spurs and Tim Sherwood? Fairness needs to be taken into account.......and fairness is a particular issue with football, in that there ain't much in it.

 

Fortunately I have contacts in the game as well as being a professional scout for two clubs. Luckily I could contact those and would get big help but if a coach is good enough, whether they have been a pro or not, they should be considered

 

The simple solution to this "badges" issue would be to SET FIRE TO LUKE STEELE & BOBBY HASSELL.

Quite a few top coaches never played at a high level or even professionally, but it is a hard world to break into.

 

Its 5k with 15k suspended as long as he gets the badge by 1st May. He was warned to get said badge when he became manager.
