I was talking about the 6 year obscurity before he came to Barnsley. Or had you forgot? ;)

He spent some time at Hibs and they thought he was absolutely awful.

I thought it was the bar above Chambers in Tarn? Presumably he does mean something in L'pool but would have been funny. I'm just trying to create some non-existent gossip :p

Dunfermline fans loved him. Scored some crackers for them too.

Amazing if he comes back - get him to his best and our team will have so much more of a goal threat
    Such a dangerous player

I'm intrigued where he'd go in our preferred 5-3-2 formation, at a guess he'd be put in the trequartista role?

Ha, okay. There is only one poster to whom football is more of a foreign language than I....

And I have to stop reading Jane Austen.

We wouldn't have a choice in getting Vaz Te back, he's an established Premiership footballer these days.

What on earth makes people think that as soon as he walks down Grove Street he'll suddenly rediscover his form?

Belief. He did it too many times for it to have been coincidence.

From his time here you know he's got the talent, and if he came here you'd think it would be with the intention of working hard to get his career back on track at a lower salary and who better to get some form out of a willing player than Flicker and co?

Not saying he definitely would but I do think that if he were ever to have a chance of getting back to how he was, it would be here.

He'd have a lot in common with 1 or 2 in the squad, too.

I think the reason the likes of Hammill, Howard and Butterfield have done nothing since they left us is because in our team they were the main focus, we always played through them, they'd see plenty of the ball as the other players would realise that they got things going and ignored any mistakes they made as they knew what they were capable of. They won't get that at other clubs.
