    RE: Kayode

I was disappointed with Kayode's attitude in the warm-up yesterday, pre-match and at half-time. He was just going through the motions, doing the exercises half-heartedly. He looked so uncommitted, and I'm surprised the trainer doing the warm-ups didn't have a word with him.

However, although he came on to a decent reception from most of the Tykes fans, there were some fans amazingly booing the guy before he'd even kicked a ball! Just what you need to beef up your confidence. Idiots! Anyway, he had a decent 10 minutes, and almost scored when their keeper made a terrific save from his far post header.

Back to my original point, you can see that all the abuse seems to be getting to the bloke, from his training attitude, where he looked worn-down by it all.

Agree with some other posters, about SD's bizarre selections, where Bogdanovic seemed to be playing out wide much of the first half, without much effect. With Hammill on from the start, we'd probably have had all three points against a poor Watford outfit. They were there for the taking in the 2nd half, but we just didn't have the power to finish them off. Then with Muller messing up, we're two points thrown away and again in the ****, because if we don't get 3 against Swansea we're really up against it.

Its not the abuse he gets that the problem

Even when he is hailed as a hero, ie Chelsea match , scnuthorpe match, he still looks like a scared rabbit, he is no good in this division and he thinks that himself. Or he would not have turned down our first approach for him , he turned it down because he did not think he was good enough, thats HIS excuse not anyone on here.

    1 thing about that

why do all players who come back after injury always go on the bench?
if they look top class, like hammill does, wont it be better to get a good 20 mins at the start and get us in front rather than put him on with 30 to go and he breaks down n no subs left, or like the blunts game, its too late?
if they're a top player and fit enough to be in the team, a manager should start with him

You're obviously not a person who is low on confidence then. If you were, you would know that a negative reaction to your efforts is going to make you perform worse. Some thrive on it eg. Chopra. Kayode doesn't.

Even when he was praised to the hilt on National tv he still could not do it next match

he just does not believe in himself.
