I like his reaction, it showed he cared and the team, club and fans meant something to him. Anybody who's played football, at any level, has behaved like that at some point. I'm glad we've got players like Adam Hammill in our squad.
Those getting at Kent. Official stats show he won the second most tackles in the team behind Yiadom, most dribbles in the team... Adam Jackson had more shots than Winnall who should have been subbed at half time for being completely out of his depth..
It shows hes a petulant little boy who believes hes above the team. Everything if does, even his rash slide tackles are all hollywood, I get the impression he believes its the adam hammill show every week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Rather than punish I think, given when his head is in the right place he is a great asset to the club, connects with the fans, help would be a better option. I assume BFC engage the services of a sports psychologist who could help him through any issue he has. If they don't they should. Nearly all top sportsmen women and organisations recognise the benefits of them along with dieticians etc. Funny how so many are quick to jump on him for reacting as he did when he was obviously fired up. All the 'winners' have their moments, Vettel, Hamilton in F1, Djokovic (and even Murray) in tennis - just 2 examples. In any case I am sure Hecky can handle him.
I take it you don't like him then? No point in elaborating on my opinion, except to say it couldn't be further away from yours.
Looking at some of your recent posts .... do you really live under a bridge and do you really eat Billy goats for supper??
I sit quite close to the dugout so I saw it all . As Hammill was coming off foaming at the mouth Hecky went onto the pitch and escorted him to his seat on the bench whilst looking him straight in the eye and giving him a major bollocking . Hecky went up massively in my estimation. No doubt who the boss is .
Sam winnall worked his bag out last night and did well in the air and in build up play. And I've been critical of sam in the past but last night he did okay with little to feed off. Speaking of out depth how many times did he lose the ball with these dribbles? He can't cross a ball and he néeds to learn how to pass. One of the worst performers last night.
I don't believe he was booked for that challenge. He is on four yellows though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Kept showing it on Sky Sports yesterday afternoon , it didn't put Hammill in a very good light , l think he'll be embarrassed when he sees it , let's hope his reaction is a goal or three on Saturday
Lets hope so . You can see how frustrated Hammill is, he could play in league 1 with his eyes closed but seems to have hit a brick wall at the moment .
He was just as poor in league one for a pretty large period. That isn't a criticism of him, he just goes through periods where he is off the boil and then goes through periods where he's on fire.
Bit unfair to say he was poor in league one for a large period , yes he had a few below par performances but what player doesn't . Do you think we would have got promoted without him ?
