Shouldn't be at the expense of what a head coach wants though imo. Not that we have a clue on what he thinks about Murray.

If I want a question answering seriously do I have to put "serious question" in my question?

    Serious question.

As our caretaker coach he's had 8 games and we've won a big fat zero. In those 8 games we have kept zero clean sheets. He's not up to scratch and that's based on the only thing that matters which is results.

Haven't you answered your own question there?

I know this is a random pick on.

But do you want serious answers only to your serious question?

It's a question that's been posted. By you.

Calling it serious - as we get people on here on here saying their questions are - doesn't make it serious.

It might be the most ridiculous question ever asked. And thus deserves ridiculous answers

It's for those who may or may not answer it to choose whether they feel like they should answer, and whether the question is ridiculous or not.

It's just a question. Like anyone else's. If you feel the need to say that it's serious, there may be something wrong with it.

There was no humour in my answer. So I haven't answered it seriously.

Which is what you wished for.

I haven't answered the question either.

(This answer was brought to you by 12 year old Caol Ila, the greatest tasting scotch on planet earth. Seriously).

    You seem very angry.

My point was that I am not asking whether Murray's presence is undermining by way of any sort of provocation or wind-up. I am simply asking whether the presence of someone who was part of a previous (unsuccessful) coaching regime is a bit of a distraction to an incoming manager/head coach who is no doubt hoping to achieve a winning mentality amongst his squad.

And I can't agree about the whisky either. Taste is subjective, and Laphroaig and 15-year-old Glenfiddich, while more mainstream, would take some surpassing in my humble opinion.

Well your question is a reasonable one and need not be prefixed to be serious.

Albeit a difficult one to answer.

So I forgive you for that.

Your taste in whisky is however not serious. Laphroig bypasses the more forgiving (if more expensive) Lagavulin. Glenfiddich you can sup like pop.
    (not serious)

Fair play to Murray, did what was needed as a caretaker manager
I understand he will need the input from the current backroom staff on players but I'd like to think he will come in with his own tactics etc otherwise we might aswel have kept Murray in charge. I'm hoping to see something different to struber and Murray, if not it could be a long season. I'd prefer us playing with wingers rather than wingbacks.

Yes, we're in agreement. I think I'm trying to say there will be a handover period from Murray to Ismael passing on the intel on players and the playing styles of DS and GS. I'm very certain that Valerian Ismael will have his own thoughts and philosophies otherwise as you quite right allude to we might as well have kept Murray in charge.

Shouldn't undermine, as assistant coach his job will be to implement what the head coach wants. If he doesn't then the head coach should be allowed to bring in someone who will. Murray seems to have something about him as he's survived two managers and each time he's had to step in, he's done an acceptable job. Time will tell.
