    I don't understand your affinity with Man City...

    it's like a bloke having two wives and saying 'what's the fuss?' - I just can't relate to this blatent support you have for another team.

    As for Adebayor = well he deserved what he gets. He was well out of order - complete disgrace to the spirit of the game. Most decent players who score against their old club put their head down and walk back to the centre spot without any exaggerated celebrations. It doesn't matter if the player feels he is justified in his conduct by what came before his move - he's in the wrong, it brings disrepute to the game and it could have sparked something really ugly and dangerous for other people in the stadium. If Adebayor can't understand the responsibiity he has when he crosses the white line on a Saturday afternoon then he needs to have some time off to consider it more.

    As for the stamp - simply a horrendous and intentional violent act. He intended to hurt a fellow professional and it doesn't matter if people like Van Persie or not - Adebayor deserves to get slammed by the F.A.

    Overall - completely beyond defence and Man City should be the first to come out and take positive action against their player.

    If it were up to me I'd give him what Cantona got for karate kicking that Palace fan.
