Makes a caterwauling noise. Why people buy her racket is beyond me.

Check out Florence. She makes all that Adele stuff sound like chilled out ambient vibes.

Seems all the big pop stars are both bland and "over sing" songs, if that makes sense.

There are some really good female songwriters about. I'd add Bat for Lashes to those already mentioned.

you folks simply dont like big names artists who have made it big......you are all 'real ale' music types, naming people who most folk have never heard of.....pure musical snobbery.

Adele is not my fav but whoever says she ain't a good singer is probably of the opinion that Mr L Johnson should be the next England manager........see how I linked it to bfc there folks?

it takes years of dedication to become a ICS you know!!

Never mind, Oakwell soon...i'll be chasing pavements up grove street shortly hoping we don't have a skyfall if we lose.

Laura Marling is pretty well known, Julia Holter won Mojo's 2015 Album of the Year, they're not that obscure.

Prefer Adkins myself (when the Blunts sack him) or mebbes Warnock. But I'd take Adele in place of LJ right now.

English version of Whitney Houston for me. Shouts every song, rather than sings it. Unrealistically overrated.

    Both of them.
