We could make a start by all cancelling our SKY subs That's where the dosh comes from. As you say, take that away and there will be some serious head scratching to do. Mine's going after the Ashes. Sick of forking out for something I watch about twice a month.
Not sure thats true Manchester City and earlier Chelski's sprees were not funded by Sky. In any case Sky get most of their money by selling on the coverage to the football mad all over the world so a few UK subscribers packing in subscribing wouldnt make much difference
There is usually 2 sides to a story It may not be as black and white as Coleman is painting it. Agree though that Agents arent always good for the players or clubs - Ask Dominic Werling if his agent did him favours by trying to renegotiate a deal with us
RE: It's a ridiculous drain on resources The PFA employ people to represent their members in their transfer/contract negociations. This is provided as part of your membership fee. Most players choose not to use them, obviously thinking/believing that their own personal agent will secure a better deal for them.
Clubs aren't that "bright" either In what is clearly a buyers market, we STILL have clubs living way beyond their means....
funny enough one of my mates friends has just become Garath Barrys agent and sorted out the man city move, quite interesting in how it all works and how they get paid.
