As I say, I've met him a couple of times, seemed a nice bloke. But there's no excuse for lazy journalism. If he knows about COG, he'd know he doesn't live in Sheffield. And I'm sorry, but their signings so far don't smack of a club owned by an Arab prince who can then afford 500k and COG's hefty wages. I'll eat my hat if he goes there.
Not saying they wouldn't like him, or that they aren't interested. Just doubt they've got a chance. For numerous reasons.

And anyway, you'd think they'd had enough of our cast off strikers. Dyer, Shipperley, Ward, Bogdanovic...

Never challenges anything or ever has a strong opinions on local football and therefore is well regarded by local clubs.
The word is sycophantic .
