people would still remember the prem

if he failed it would become a footnote, if he does well which of course is a different thing now to then, his status will increase

Unbelievable. Now that is the road to the conference.</p>

I want someone who will be wanted by the fans this time next year

Even the most unpopular choice - if he gets us to mid table and playing good football by the end of the season will have won over most I'd have thought.

Dont think too many were overjoyed at Wilsons appointment. (Or Gudjon for that matter) And we have had a couple of popular managers who werent popular for all that long.

Still please dont be Tony Adams though

    Wilson....hmmm

dunno, still feckin Judas in my book.

Could possibly come and do enough to get us out of the mire but not by any means guaranteed.

    Redfern, NO. just that.

    Whats Hunter doing these days

He was brilliant at getting the best out of a team of players.
That was the team that clarke basically built - He just couldnt replace them with players as good or better

The side we have now would do well under Norman for a year or 2 - we'd just need a director of football to sign the players

Wilson and Redfearn - No Ta.

And I hope Patrick does not take any notice of Alan Bloore or 'The Trust'. Doing a good job at Boston does not cut it with me.

Also Alan - the 9 clubs relegated whilst Simon was manager would not would swap places with us today. I think Leicester and Scnuthorpe will be happier where they are.

He's in his 60s doing the 'corporate circuit'

... when I last saw him he was reeling off stories from 40 years since. It was nearly 30 years since he managed us and he is one to be consined to the past. Danny however is not 50 yet and has been employed virtually all the time since he left us.

WHO THE HELL GIVES BLOORE THE RIGHT TO SPEAK FOR ME!!

He is the biggest backside licker this club has ever known... i worked with him when we went into ADMIN and his brown arming tactics with P Doyle was the Best ive ever seen. This is a man who has a ego the size of the humber bridge... If Cryne listens to Bloore especially about the abject failiure of Redfearn to make the cut in management then Cryne needs his head looking at.
THE last thing we need is a ex Red who has proven failure at football management.. and that is Redfearn

His change in opinion when he realised PC was stood next to him a few years ago was the best

    that i've ever seen.

"Doyle is the best man in the world, he's a fantastic man, doing a great job he is."

    *looks around*

"oh hiya mr cryne, you're the best man in the world, you're a fantastic man. doyle is doing a crap job"

    funny as ****

the suggestion of norman hunter was tongue in cheek.....yes danny is around the 50 mark and has been employed virtually the whole time since leaving us...all that time achieving absolutley nothing of any note ,nada ,nowt ,zilch chuff all...we need a man at the helm with no emotional ties to the club
