    Of course...

Not sure who suggested otherwise (Alan or the reporter) but it's ridiculous.

perhaps he should request not to be referred to as chairman of the supporters trust then

when he isn't speaking in that capacity.

If he is addressed as that in an interview then i'm sorry but hes speaking on behalf of it.

If it was nothing to do with the trust why did HE specifically mention the trust in the article?

    Speaking to the Press

as 'Chairman of Influential Barnsley Supporters' Trust' is not speaking for yourself.

    Again.

If he's speaking to the Press in a capacity of Chairman of Influencial Barnsley Supporters' Trust then he has no right to air a personal opinion. In my view that is.

Didn't hear a peep out of him about removing Davey

But now he's speaking to the press about who should step into his place, we needed a figure head to speak for the fans about Davey not who should replace him. Too much brown nosing and bragging about free England away trips in my opinion.

    JESUS CHRIST

DO NOT PUT NEIL REDFEARN'S NAME FORWARD ON MY BEHALF!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

    Can I make myself clearer?

You would think that someone who professes to speak for the fans would have more sense than to suggest a managerial dud, who has bombed everywhere he's been, on the basis of nothing more than fecking sentiment.

    I can't get my breath.

This Redfearn suggestion thing is really getting on my tits.

You still bring his name up...

With the most tenuous of links. I don't get it.

"If Bloore is putting himself up for it "- eh he isn't. "why not Tommy Tyke" - WTF?

    Lets make one rthing clear

The Supporters Trust has NOT been asked to put forward suggested names for the vacant manager's job. The names that Alan mentioned in the article ae his own personal views and suggestions as to possibilities.

When I spoke with him earlier, a number of names were mentioned as potential candidates, all that have been mentioned on here (including T. Adams). This was not drawing up any short list, just banding round a list of names that may be in the frame, just as we are all doing on here.

As i said all supporters appear to have their own views, some I would say are just plain crazy, for exampe Dennis Wise :'( :'(

If asked for the Trusts suggestions (and I doubt the club would to be fair) the list would be just as big as the list we could generate from the BBS suggestions.

As I said, my view is Mick McCarthey, very unlikely to say the least, but when asked by the Beeb, I said Mick as my personal choice. That said, she did not get the reason behind the choice, until I explained that Mick was a Tarn lad. That said it was never mentioned and if it was I would have said that it would have to be my personal choice.

i dont think redfearn should be considered as manager, but do think he could do a job for us somewhere in the backroom staff. he's got more experience than kidd or o'hanlon, and has a genuine interest in the clubs fortunes. can only be a good thing in my opinion.

    Can you make this clear??

Supporters Trust Chairman Alan Bloore however has put forward 'the fans vote' in Danny Wilson and Neil Redfearn. The pair played a major role in getting the Reds promoted to the Premier League in 1997, Wilson the mastermind manager and Redfearn the captain.

Alan Bloore has zero influence to put forward a fans vote.

He has every right to do what the hell he wants

This is 21st century England not 1930s Germany.
