That's a fair point Steve, I agree - Mowat for me is a top championship player but not premiership - too left footed and just lacks a little bit of pace imo, nevertheless a really good all round player at championship level - Syles by contrast is two footed has an extra bit of pace and I think he would make it in the premiership
As others have said, if we went up I think he’d stay. Doubt there will be too many PL teams in for him. Imagine he’ll leave though if we don’t. He’ll be able to get a massive wage bump from what we could offer on a Championship budget. Also have absolutely no issue with that. He’s been totally professional with us and if he can double his salary or more, he deserves it for me.
Given the fact they have been here only 3 months and have been involved in every game then the answer would be no. (Not checked if it’s every, but from memory).
Morris has started 3 games of the 18 he's been involved in and played 745 of the possible1620 minutes. By the way I don't think he's a failed Championship player, but nor do I think Hourihane is a failed Premier league player, based on statistics (or any other metric).
Neither do I on either player. I did say I could understand why some might think it but also said I thought that would be harsh.
