    I seem to remember Alex Neil saying he had absolutely no affinity whatsoever with Barnsley. Yes he said he played for us but that was about it. No thank you, not for me

    Not someone like Schopp or Morais. It works both ways. Stendel since leaving us maybe he had less to do with our success and it was more the players knowing what to do with little coaching like how Shane Warne talks about the great Australia side and talks negative about their successful coach of that period Buchanan. Our foreign head coaches never bring their family with them. It can't be easy being away from loved ones for long periods of time. Maybe try someone who after training can drive back to their family home so they are not alone.

    I think Schopp still having a job is disrespectful to paying Barnsley supporters - and even more disrespectful to the squad of players, who deserve a stronger leader.

    Most managers have no affinity with their clubs, they usually develop it tho when they sign the contract £££££
