I still can’t believe that people thought that the inept comedians in government and opposition were capable of overseeing something like this. You wouldn’t find such a bumbling collection of halfwits in The same place in any other circumstances anywhere.

there cant be a EU politician anywhere that has had as much scrutiny as farage, the vast majority of the british media have ripped him apart over the last 8 or 9 years, other than the express i cant think of any other outlet thats given him any support, farage's popularity was down to him wanting out of the EU,nothing more and nothing less.

Only if they enacted the rules in racist ways.

It is not racist to require all immigrants to the UK to have their own health insurance to cover the first year they are in the country. It is unfair to require Polish immigrants *only* to have their own health insurance. It is unfair to backdate that requirement after the fact.

It is not racist to require all UK citizens to have a mandatory ID card. It is racist to require only immigrants to have a mandatory ID card.

It is not racist to limit access to social housing or benefits as long as those limits are applied to all immigrants equally and they are subject to the same limits as the UK natives.

Asylum seekers are different to immigrants.

Question Time have him on every 5 minutes. The Daily Mail, Express, Sun, Star and Telegraph all support him and give him a platform.

In his time as an MEP he has been fined for misappropriating funds on several occasions. Clearly he received money from
Foreign powers to try and subvert U.K. democracy ( whether you agree with his views or not that’s not on) and was stock market gambling on the outcome of Brexit.

He cares so much for UK interests he could never be bothered to attend to do his job.

I’m not sure how much I care about whether we are the EU but know instinctively know that whatever side Farage is on I’m not.

It's unbelievable how any one could be taken in by Farage .
NF's got the backing of some unscrupulous individuals, multinationals, financial organizations and big business behind him. He's a con artist ..

One bit you've missed however is the part about UK citizens paying in more per head than the Germans.

I can't believe this thread is still going. Jesus wept give it a rest, there are countless f***ing Brexit posts on here, all crammed full of the same posts as have been repeated again in this one.

In absolute terms, Germany made the largest net contribution, followed by France and the UK. Per head of population Germany made the largest net contribution, followed by Denmark, France, Netherlands, Sweden and the UK

The German Government made a different assessment in their paper presented in Berlin.
    http://www.spiegel.de/international/europe/brexit-to-cost-european-union-billions-a-1111724.html

From 2008 to 2015, the United Kingdom's contribution to the EU rose each year, to the point that it ultimately became the third biggest net payer into the EU's budget, the paper notes, with the average yearly amount paid by Britain pegged at 6.5 billion euros during this period. The only countries that pay more for European unity are Germany and France.

In 2015, the study found, Britain was in second place: The British paid 12.7 billion euros more than they got back from the EU. By comparison, Germany paid 15.6 billion. The paper also determined that the British paid more into the EU per capita than Germany did that year.

Please sir! It wasn't me sir!!;) Even I am now fed up with the same arguments, name calling and so-called 'debates' on endless repeat. It is like Groundhog day.

I just wish they would get on with it whatever 'it' is.

The map with figures includes money spent on each country plus the impact of EU institutions in each country, we have (well used to have) a number of EU authorities in the UK plus a rebate plus lots of EU projects due to our depressed regions not being cared for by it's own government.
