didn't step onto the pitch till middle of october

because of an injury and didnt have a proper crack at a place in the team till december january so its a bit unfair to compare his stat to the season to that of odejayi who has started a lot of games.

    Re: Mossto

There must be something about him somewhere.

You cannot be a terrible player if you score 20 goals a season in Peru. He might not be quick, he might be poor in the air, he might not be strong, but he must have SOMETHING to find the net like he did in Peru.

I know the standard of football must be pretty poor, but it is still a skill to put the ball in the back of the net. If he had come over having scored 10 goals a season, then questions must have been asked.

At the minute, he needs to learn to make "English runs", which involved pulling the centre half out wide, while our full back whacks it down the line. He comes short a lot, and doesn't reall play close enough to the other striker.

    Football is a universal language

A striker worth his salt should be making runs that gets him in positions to score.

He comes deep I'll give him that but when he gets it in those positions he loses it time after time.

I hope he comes good but I'm afraid to say it looks like another Peter Sand capture.

Yeah, I know you're not on about his debut

You pick a period of time when Nad's was out injured and then say he didn't do anything? I think that's a little unfair.

Interestingly, Mr Hart signed Nardiello and then borrowed Chopra from Newcastle rather than play him (something Hart & Chopra took a lot of abuse for). I guess Danny is now experiencing things from the opposite perspective.....

Coulson came on and made a good run (against Blackpool)

Howard gave Coulson the ball and he scored. Exactly the same thing happened in the match against Norwich (except the goalie saved it).

Also, Odejayi made a nice run in the Southampton game - and Howard found him too (but that chance was squandered).

I'm puzzled as to why we can't get the ball to Mostto AT ALL (if his movement is so good).

"both strikers need a goal off their knee or shin or anything and i belive that could start them off"

How does this work then? Both these strikers HAVE got the one goal to start them off, but it didn't start them off at all did it? Mostto got the lucky goal you alluded to, while KO scored a goal that would have left any Premier League striker brimming with confidence.

I agree that booing and jeering doesn't help confidence, but to say 1 goal will kick them off is clearly untrue

Totally agreed, they already have 1 goal and dont look like they are capable of getting more. nt
