    Supermarkets ALREADY do that

The Price of fresh fruit & veg varies wildly depending upon supply and demand.

The same thing is happening here at BFC....

have you had a reply from the club yet?

    1 CUSTOMER SERVICE

1.1 The Club encourages customer feedback, comment, views or complaints about the Club, its staff or activities. All such correspondence should, in the first instance, be directed to the General Manager who will respond himself or arrange for an appropriate departmental head to respond on behalf of the Club.

1.2 Any contact from a customer, whether it be by letter, facsimile or e-mail will receive a response within seven working days. Should it not be possible to provide a full response within that time an acknowledgement will be sent and a comprehensive reply will follow at the first possible opportunity.

RE: The market in Barnsley would suggest £15 is a fair price for a home game

I'm not ignoring what you've written about that. If the club have reneged on a previous statement of intent, then they deserve villification. My comments were simply that £25, for a fixture such as this, is a fair market price. I'd love to be going, but even at £2.50, I couldn't make it.

RE: The problem is that if

Ever heard of a simple theory called 'supply and demand'?

Basically, if demand increases for some reason (a big cup tie) and supply doesn't increase at the same time (the stadium hasn't grown) then that equals an increase in price. Therefore prices have been increased so the club can maximise profits.

What has supply and demand got to do with MY reasons?

If you have a a Customers Charter, then you should stick with it.
You should not be able to re-word the said Charter , just because you want to make more money.
This is akin to ticket touting and I dont want to be involved in that, so therefore I will not be buying a ticket. MY CHOICE, it does not mean I am right or the club is right., but I have made my stand and in the eyes of BFC I am insignificant.

    My only problem is...

It's easier for a fan with four match tickets to get a 2nd ticket, than for a ST holder who went to the Burnley match.

Bearing in mind that a lot of those former fans will appear at the Ipswich and West Brom games knowing the ticket strategy, it doesn't quite add up as completely fair. The two of three LC games priority in my mind is a get out of offering priority to the 4000 who turned up for Burnley.

I don't think the club have got it completely wrong, but in my mind, it should have been two for ST's and 1 for everyone at the Burnley match! Wishful thinking me thinks! Come on you Reds! :D
