We had a decent record against Leeds for a bit and were a bit of a bogie team for them, but even then we could only seem to draw at Elland Road. Top vs Bottom at this stage of the season can produce some random results, but I’m not very confident. Leeds will be up for it, but I wouldn’t say they’re unbeatable. If they score first, and early in the game, I fear we’ll get a hiding. If we can frustrate them a bit and nick a goal against the run of play, who knows?
I've always been a optimist watching the reds. However the way Leeds destroyed Stoke does not inspire me to expect anything from this game. Hope Forrest and Brentford are resting players to get 6 points from .
West Brom slipped up last night though Brentford are likely to still be in with a chance of automatic on the last day.
I don't think we'll stay up. I didn't think we'd stay up before we kicked a ball last August. However, with 3 games to play we're 3 points from safety with a game in hand. That's closer to safety than I thought we'd be. Closer than we've been for months. It's not the time to give up. I haven't given up. I think it's more likely we will be relegated but I haven't given up. There are dozens of contributors to this forum who have given the team lorry loads of support all season despite some abject results and performances, consistently displaying belief and a confidence we'll stay up. Don't give up now.
