You are a habitual poster who has so much doom and gloom on the team. You perhaps need to support and get behind the team as your continuous negativity is getting extremely boring. I would quite happily buy your season ticket off you if you don’t like what you see.
Haven't you got one then? I'm still failing to see what relevance any of your posts have in this thread?
I do have one, it’s obvious that you don’t need yours. The relevance is that your dig at the club is a vailed attempt to say that they haven’t invested and the team is rubbish. All I am saying is get behind them, your negativity is boring
I hope it wasn't too veiled. We seemed to be having a decent discussion and then you came in with a load of over sensitive piffle. Thanks for derailing the thread. You might as well post on every thread with "get behind them" as it's clear you've nowt else to offer.
I'm quite happy with where we are tbh. Difficult to judge the new regime in my opinion as it's too early to do so, again in my opinion. I don't think anyone would deny the folly of appointing Morais, but since then they have made another brave and risky decision to appoint Stendel which the league table to date suggests is proving to be a good one. I'd like to see Stendel allowed at least 3 seasons to oversee things, that's the timeframe that I feel is needed to fairly judge him, and the club. I'd have taken top 6 this season, we look to have enough to achieve that, but that also means the lottery of play offs and no promotion guarantee. The board, as far as I can remember, were very low key in what they stated their intentions were and, Morais apart, have quietly gone about things from appointing Stendel. My gut feel is that it'll be a steady period of change, player turnover and moderate investment. The ideal would obviously be promotion at the first attempt but I wouldn't class it as failure if we didn't achieve it.
You are extremely mistaken. I support the team throughout and I am happy to say that I will criticise when they play badly or praise when they play well. I know that they have underperformed on occasions but what I won’t say is that they are a mediocre league 1 team, I personally believe that they are better than that, obviously you don’t.
I'm not sure to be honest on his day he is a very important player and more than good enough for this league. Past few weeks he has had a dip in form. Wouldn't like to put a price on him at the minute still got a good few years on his contract and I think he will develop even more in that time. I would have defiantly been reluctant to sell to a promotion rival in the summer so fair play to the owners.
Surely he's worth what a club is willing to pay? In today's over inflated transfer market I would say that Potts is worth more than you think he is.
