Correct Pal, and most of us have seen much better than weve currently got but far worse as well and like you say, support 'em through thick and thin and take whatever comes.

I always say the few successes that we have are far sweeter when they come along because of the majority of failures that we have to endure!

If we were starting in the Conference next week I'd still be goin and looking forward to it ........ I quite fancy a trip to Braintree instead of Wolverhampton!!

Nobody knows how the season will unfold. All we have at the moment is a collection of opinions.

I'm looking forward to this season, and I hope we get promoted - otherwise what's the point? And for me that's the key to a lot of the moaning and ambivalence - the club 'seem' to have set our target (again) at just mere survival. And unfortunately, that's not enough for some. Even to the point where a lot of us have had enough, and haven't renewed our seats.

I'm such a lover of this club, however, that I'm guaranteed to attend most of the games I'm able to anyway, and will end up worse for it financially. But it's what we do, isn't it? I'm ****** if I know what else to do on a weekend, after suffering for 24 years I may as well continue... :D

A few silent tears and grown men hugging each other for getting into the Premiership and same again re our first trip to Wembley, remembering friends who started on the same journey in division 4 only to pass away never seeing these glorious times.Thats what supporting your teams all about.Nothing wrong with the occasional moan but don't turn it into a soap opera.

Spot on, my dad being one of those who missed the Prem and Wembley etc. after supporting the reds from 1938 to when he passed away in 1993 aged 64
