    Grasmere has its own micro brewery and sell many of its ales at The Good Sport Inn in the village.

    Regular walk from home to the Hawkshead brewery at Staveley then two more breweries on the way home. Handsome brewery at Bowston then Bowness Bay brewery back in Kendal.

    Tried it,looked like a very good selection of ales but disappointingly only one cider on, the Cornish original or berry. The missus can't get on with the real ale so we didn't bother but I would recommend it to real ale fans for sure.
