I'm not sure he does. He thinks he's a world level fighter, he is. He wants the big fights understandably so he tries to fight the best he can. One thing you can't say about Khan is that he won't fight anyone. He may not beat everyone but he'll give it a go. Normally decent fights too.
Khan's generally good to watch but Alexander isn't. He managed to make a fight with Maidana bad which is virtually impossible. I'd expect Khan to come through with a 116-112 (or close to that) points win. More excited to see Keith Thurman in action, that lads got it all
I thought Khan won 11 rounds but I still wasn't that impressed. Judges gave Alexandra no rounds, 1 round and 2 rounds. I dunno how the judge who gave him two rounds came to that conclusion. Devon got round 8 at a push. Amir really could have done with a knockout to really shine and show he's ready for Manny and Floyd. It won't matter anyway because for a British fighter he's not particularly popular over here.
FMJ doesn't get that many kos and everyone bigs him up as GOAT. It was a good display of Khan's ability against another world level fighter. Not a truly great performance but other than ko him he couldn't do much more.
It's khans best performance yet as he's finally listening to his trainer and not getting drawn into a brawl. Khans never had a problem with his skills or ability as he's blessed with both in abundance it's just been his temperment and judgement when under pressure which has got him into situations where he has been ko'd. In the last three fights Virgil Hunter has got him to understand when to engage, when to run and when to box . If he fights like this against mayweather he wins as his speed power and ability will be too much for an aging Floyd. If Khan fights Pac man I think he will lose as Pac will find a way of dragging him into a brawl
