He'd have gone to Everton in January if he hadn't got injured

We're not having that thing. Ask Swansea fans what they think of him and most will say they hate him because he's too busy thinking about himself to think of the club.

Hes Championship class same as Chopra. The striker who may be Premier class is Freddy Eastwood but he is out of our price range.

Not starting with Trundle cost Swansea a place in the Championship(thank god)and we all know that in our hearts.

    better than what we've got?

we all know that trundle's ability to hold the ball up aswell as score goals is exceptional. he has such strength that he brings the ball down on his chest every time.

he would create more hype from out of town that in tarn, that's what would put bums on seats, but we'd never get him for £350,000.

i'd love to see him at barnsley, would be a great player for us, without a doubt...just don't think we'd be able ot prise him away from swansea.

    Rubbish

Once Trundle came on they didn't look as much as a threat. Fallon and Knight are a much better partnership.

The problem playing Trundle is everyone gives him it and he tries to do everything alone. When Fallon was playing they either hoofed it into him or looked for the run of Knight, which is a lot harder to defend against.

i agree fallon played well, but what did knight do?

trundle was class and we didn't really deal with him, we were forced to stand off him.

play the two of them and we would have been pretty screwed.

    Were you at the game?

Fatty Trundle had one waddling walk where he missed a great chance , the rest of the time he did nothing except blast the ball 20 yards wide. Once Knight went off the defenders knew they werent going to get anymore balls over the top.

I dont deny he has a bag of tricks , but he did next to nothing after Xmas.

RE: Were you at the game?

obviously you weren't. count the number of times he brought the ball down whilst holding our defenders off, the fact is, he scores a lot of goals and causes a lot of problems.

for me fallon was the best player on the pitch until he came off, and then robinson in close second. but knight did nothing, good player, but did nothing. if trundle would have bagged that one at the end we'd all be saying he was class...and usually he does put them in so lucky for us he had an off day.

doesn't change the fact that he would be a useful addition to the squad.

all this talk of chopra is wearing thin anyway...he's a good finisher, but can he hold up the ball, win it in the air, fight off defenders...no he can't. i'd personally be just as happy if shipperly signed cos he's proven himself time and again in this league. chopra would be a gamble cos he did nothing in this league on his various loan spells.

I agree with your Knight comments...and the Fallon ones. :)

Trundle hasn't been on form though since that LDV Final against Carlisle when he wore that offensive top. Knocked his confidence a bit, so he hasn't scored for a bit (except that penalty - but they don't count). :)
