    They also got a relatively early goal which may have meant the tactics changed. They certainly didn't seem all that bothered about leaving their own half after they scored.

    Obviously lacking in python fans. It is not really my theory anyway, It was stolen from Ann Elk.

    Completely agree. I don’t think it’s any coincidence that both O’Keefe & Cotter had shockers without him.

    That's absolutely true of course. Goals change games. But part of being a professional football manager is preparing for all eventualities, and adapting accordingly. It's well known how meticulously Sarina Wiegman practices for every possible scenario at every stage of the game, including having players sent off, an outfield player being in goal etc etc. I would have thought going 1-0 down at home early on and having to break a defensive opposition down would be a fairly regular scenario which would be prepared for. Maybe Collins did indeed do this, but the players just didn't do what they were supposed to in the first half.
